Description :

Eclectic vintage decor collection featuring several collectible and decorative pieces, highlighted by a signed A. Giannelli owl figurine, a hand-carved wooden butter mold with detailed acorn design, a Pennsylvania Dutch-style Shoo-Fly Pie commemorative plate, brass wall bell/door hardware, Japanese ceramic cat figurines, folk art driftwood ladybug display, wooden lidded container, pottery vase base, and assorted decorative accents.

The standout piece in this lot is the hand-carved wooden butter mold, which features an attractive acorn and leaf carving inside. Similar carved butter molds are highly sought after by primitive kitchenware and folk-art collectors. The signed Giannelli owl and hand-painted Pennsylvania Dutch pottery also add collector appeal.

Fun Fact / Historical Note
Wooden butter molds were used throughout the 1800s and early 1900s to create decorative patterns on homemade butter before sale or serving. Acorn motifs symbolized prosperity and strength, making them popular carving subjects. Signed Giannelli wildlife sculptures and Pennsylvania Dutch folk-art pottery remain collectible categories today.
