Description :
Charming vintage marigold carnival glass owl vase featuring brilliant iridescent coloring with an embossed honeycomb body and large owl eyes. The hand-formed rim creates pointed "ear" tips, giving the vase its distinctive owl silhouette. The rich marigold finish displays beautiful gold, amber, pink, and orange flashes that change with the light. A wonderful display piece for collectors of carnival glass, owl décor, or vintage art glass. Its whimsical design makes it equally attractive as a small vase, utensil holder, or decorative accent. Measurements Approx: Condition: Historical Note/Fun Fact: Estimated Value:
Very good vintage condition with beautiful iridescent finish. No major chips or cracks observed. Minor wear consistent with age. Please review all photographs carefully for complete condition details.
Carnival glass was first introduced by Fenton in the early 1900s and became famous for its shimmering iridescent finish created by spraying metallic salts onto hot glass. Owl-form carnival glass remains especially collectible because of its whimsical design and relatively limited production compared to more common floral patterns.
