Good antique condition with age-appropriate finish wear, including surface scratches and light edge wear consistent with nearly a century of use. Structurally sound and displays beautifully. Please review photos carefully for complete condition details.
Lyre pedestal tables became especially popular during the Colonial Revival movement of the 1910s and 1920s. Inspired by Classical Greek motifs, the lyre-shaped support symbolized elegance and musical harmony, making these tables a favorite in well-appointed American homes of the period.
