Description :
Pair of authentic vintage mid-century modern textured acrylic decorator panels removed from a sliding pantry door. These translucent amber, gold, and orange panels feature a bold geometric relief pattern that glows beautifully when backlit. Originally designed as architectural inserts for cabinet doors, pantry sliders, and room dividers, these panels are ideal for restoring vintage interiors or creating custom room dividers, privacy screens, cabinet inserts, wall art, or lighting projects. Their vibrant Space Age color palette and sculptural texture make them a striking addition to any MCM or retro-inspired space. Measurements Approx Condition Historical Note Est Value
Approximately 24–30 in. wide each x 36–48 in. tall x 1/8–1/4 in. thick.
Good vintage condition with light surface wear, minor scratches, and age-appropriate signs of previous installation. No major cracks or breaks observed. Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
Decorative acrylic panels became popular during the 1960s and 1970s as affordable architectural accents in mid-century homes. Often manufactured from Lucite or Acrylite, they were installed in pantry doors, cabinet sliders, room dividers, and privacy screens. Today, original panels are increasingly sought after by MCM enthusiasts and designers for restoration projects and custom room divider builds.
