Description :

Mixed vintage silverplate serving utensil collection with ornate traditional patterns, including pierced servers, flat server, serving spoons, small fork, serving tongs, shears and specialty utensils. Visible marks include International Silver Co. and Eales 1779 Silverplate, with additional marked pieces represented. Decorative floral, shell and scroll handles give the collection an elegant traditional table-service look.

Approx. Measurements: 5–12 in long

Condition: Good vintage condition with surface scratches, tarnish, finish variation and normal wear from age and use. Some pieces show heavier patina than others. Sold as a mixed silverplate collection as shown.

Historical Note: International Silver Co. was formed in Connecticut in 1898 through the consolidation of several established American silver manufacturers. Eales 1779 is associated with traditional English-inspired silverplate serving ware. This mixed collection reflects the elaborate revival-style tableware popular throughout much of the 20th century.

Est. Value: 65–120
