Description :
Three-piece antique and vintage serving utensil lot. Includes an ornate Gorham Cambridge pattern sterling silver asparagus server, a Wallace Irian pattern sterling silver fish server, and a Birks sterling silver handled cake server with stainless steel blade marked Sheffield England. Elegant period serving pieces with elaborate floral, scroll and pierced decoration. Approx. Measurements: 9–12 in long each Condition: Good antique/vintage condition with surface scratches, tarnish and normal age-related wear. Birks cake server has a sterling silver handle with stainless steel Sheffield England blade. Other two pieces are sterling silver. Please see photos for marks and details. Historical Note: Gorham introduced its ornate Cambridge sterling pattern in 1899, while Wallace introduced the Art Nouveau-influenced Irian pattern in 1902. Birks, one of Canada’s best-known luxury jewelers and silversmith retailers, frequently paired sterling handles with Sheffield-made stainless serving blades. Together, the three pieces represent fine turn-of-the-20th-century and later silver table-service traditions. Est. Value: 450–750
