Description :
Antique Victorian walnut cabinet or small sideboard featuring striking burled wood drawer fronts, paneled cabinet door, decorative brass hardware, molded trim, and architectural detailing. Includes three drawers, lower cabinet storage, and a removable stone or marble top. Beautiful old-world character and highly decorative burl grain throughout the facade. Approx. Measurements: 30–36" W x 18–22" D x 30–34" H Condition: Antique condition with substantial age-related wear. Stone or marble top shows heavy surface wear, scratching, discoloration, and finish deterioration. Wood has scratches, rubbing, finish variation, small losses, and other evidence of age and use. Hardware appears antique or period appropriate. Structurally presents well in photos. Please review all photos for condition. Historical Note: Cabinets of this form were popular during the late Victorian period, particularly in the late 19th century. Walnut and highly figured burl veneers were favored for their dramatic grain, while molded architectural trim and decorative brass hardware reflected the elaborate furniture tastes of the era. The compact proportions suggest use as a washstand, bedside cabinet, or small household storage cabinet. Est. Value: 350–750
