Description :
Substantial vintage gold-tone ring featuring a large round faceted orange to reddish-orange center stone surrounded by an ornate openwork setting with sculptural foliate detailing. Ring weighs approximately 7 grams. Interior markings are present but are not sufficiently clear in the photographs to confidently identify the maker or gold purity. The center stone has not been professionally gemologically tested and is therefore being sold as an unidentified colored stone. An especially striking vintage statement ring with notable weight and craftsmanship. Approx. Measurements Condition Historical Note Estimated Value
Approximately size 6–7; center stone approximately 10–12 mm; weight approximately 7 grams
Good vintage condition with age-related surface wear and patina. Center stone appears intact and securely set. Please review photographs closely, including all photographed markings.
Ornate cocktail rings featuring large brightly colored faceted stones were produced in both precious-metal and costume-jewelry versions throughout the mid-to-late 20th century. Because visually similar examples can vary dramatically in value depending on gold content, maker, and gemstone identification, professional testing is recommended for definitive identification.
