Historical Note

Seiko was a pioneer in quartz watch technology, introducing the world's first commercially available quartz wristwatch in 1969. Throughout the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, Seiko produced a wide range of dependable quartz dress watches featuring stainless steel construction and practical day-date complications. These understated designs remain popular among collectors of vintage Japanese watches.
