Description :

Beautiful vintage Queen Seiko ladies' wristwatch featuring an elegant round gold-tone case, champagne-silver dial, applied gold-tone hour markers, and slender gold-tone hands. The dial is signed "Queen Seiko" and displays the refined styling associated with Seiko's early premium women's watch collection.

The case back features the distinctive Queen Seiko crown medallion, an important identifying detail of this collectible Japanese timepiece. The watch is fitted with a narrow brown leather strap with a gold-tone buckle.

A desirable vintage mechanical dress watch with classic mid-century styling, particularly appealing to collectors of early Seiko watches.

Historical Note

Introduced in 1962, Queen Seiko was Seiko's prestigious women's watch collection and the counterpart to the celebrated King Seiko line. Unlike many decorative ladies' watches of the period, Queen Seiko emphasized precision engineering, refined design, and highly legible dials.

Early Queen Seiko watches featured manually wound mechanical movements, compact cases, and distinctive crown-emblem case backs. First-generation examples are particularly sought after by collectors of vintage Japanese horology.

The design and crown medallion of this example are consistent with early Queen Seiko models from the 1960s, although the exact reference and production year have not been independently verified.
