Description :
Beautiful original landscape painting signed L. Fagan, depicting a peaceful alpine mountain scene with towering snowcapped peaks, evergreen trees, a tranquil mountain pond, and rocky meadow terrain. The artist uses rich earth tones, forest greens, soft blues, and warm golden highlights to capture the natural beauty of a mountain wilderness. Expressive palette-knife and brushwork create raised texture throughout the mountains, trees, and foreground, giving the composition depth and dimension. Painted on canvas board or a similar rigid artist panel, with the artist's signature visible in the lower right corner. Presented unframed, with a traditional landscape composition suitable for rustic, lodge, cabin, or mountain-inspired interiors. Approx. Measurements Painting: 12–16" W × 9–12" H Measurements are visual estimates. Condition Good vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and handling. Textured paint appears intact, with no obvious major losses or tears visible in the photographs. Some light edge wear may be present. Unframed. Sold as-is, where-is. Historical Note Mountain landscape paintings have long been associated with American Western and Pacific Northwest art traditions. During the 20th century, artists frequently used expressive palette-knife techniques to emphasize rugged mountain formations, evergreen forests, and dramatic natural scenery. This painting is signed L. Fagan, although the artist's full identity and date of creation have not been independently verified. Estimated Value 40–100
