Elegant traditional-style wood dining room set featuring a rectangular dining table with a decorative parquet-style veneer top, gracefully curved edges, and substantial double pedestal bases.

The tabletop features an attractive geometric wood grain pattern with contrasting grain directions, creating a classic formal dining appearance. Two substantial turned pedestal supports rest on curved bases with decorative metal accent plates.

Accompanied by six coordinating dining chairs featuring carved wooden crest rails, woven cane backs, and upholstered seats in a neutral beige fabric. The set includes both armchairs and side chairs.

The table also includes removable extension leaves, shown separately in the photographs, allowing for additional seating when entertaining. Exact number of leaves and fit should be verified during preview.

A beautiful traditional dining set suitable for a formal dining room, large breakfast area, or classic home interior.

Historical Note

Traditional double pedestal dining tables became especially popular in American furniture design during the late 20th century, drawing inspiration from earlier English and European formal dining furniture.

Decorative parquet-style veneers, turned pedestal bases, carved chair crests, and woven cane backs were frequently incorporated into dining sets of the 1970s through 1990s.

These designs remain popular for their substantial construction, classic appearance, and versatility in traditional interiors.
