Historical Note

The L.G. Balfour Company, established in Attleboro, Massachusetts, in 1913, became a prominent American manufacturer of class rings, commemorative jewelry, and employee service awards.

Corporate service pins and bracelets were traditionally presented to employees in recognition of milestone anniversaries, often incorporating enamel, company insignias, and occasionally genuine gold components.

Nalley's, a longstanding Pacific Northwest food brand, issued commemorative employee recognition jewelry, making these pieces interesting examples of regional corporate memorabilia.
