Historical Note

Brass swing arm wall lamps became especially popular in American residential interiors during the 1970s through 1990s. Often installed beside beds or reading chairs, these practical fixtures provided adjustable lighting without occupying valuable tabletop space.

Matching pairs with pleated shades were especially popular in traditional bedroom designs and remain desirable for their classic styling and functional versatility.
