Description :

Asian Carved Hardstone Décor Lot — Possible Jade Buddha, Soapstone Brush Pot & Hand-Painted Oriental Egg

A beautifully curated trio of Asian decorative pieces featuring a carved green hardstone Buddha figure (possibly jade or serpentine), an intricately carved soapstone double brush pot with figural and floral detailing, and a delicate hand-painted Oriental decorative egg on stand. Each piece showcases traditional craftsmanship and makes a striking grouping for collectors of Asian décor, meditation spaces, or layered vintage interiors.

Measurements (approximate ranges):
Buddha: approx. 6–8" H
Brush pot: approx. 6–9" W
Decorative egg with stand: approx. 3–5" H

Condition:
Overall good vintage condition with natural stone variations, surface wear consistent with age, and minor scuffs. Stone Buddha shows natural inclusions and color variation typical of carved hardstone and may be jade or serpentine. Brush pot displays expected age wear and minor surface markings. Egg and stand in good display condition.

Historical Note:
Carved hardstone and soapstone decorative objects have long been produced across China and Southeast Asia for export and domestic use, often featuring symbolic imagery such as Buddha figures, florals, and nature scenes representing peace, longevity, and prosperity. Pieces like these became popular mid-20th century among Western collectors and remain sought after for their craftsmanship and decorative presence.

Value Estimate:
$80–200 for the lot
