Antique Twist Leg Iron Plant Stand / Stool – Early 1900s Hand-Forged

Beautiful early 20th century iron plant stand or stool featuring hand-forged twist legs and riveted metal seat. This versatile antique piece works perfectly as a plant stand, accent stool, or sculptural decorative element in vintage, farmhouse, or industrial interiors.

Measurements:
Approx. 20–24"H x 10–13" diameter seat

Condition:
Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear, patina, surface scuffs, and finish loss to the metal seat and legs. Structurally sturdy and stable. Natural aging adds to its authentic antique character.

Historical Note:
Hand-forged iron stands and stools like this were commonly produced in the late 19th to early 20th century, often used as plant stands, piano stools, or utility seating. The twisted iron legs and riveted construction reflect traditional blacksmith craftsmanship and early industrial design aesthetics.

Value:
Estimated $200–250 based on comparable early iron twist-leg stools and plant stands.
