Copper kettles and teapots of this style were commonly produced from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century for household cooking and heating applications. Copper was valued for its excellent heat conductivity, while brass accents provided durability and decorative appeal. Many surviving examples are now collected for their handcrafted construction, aged patina, and rustic decorative appeal.
