Description :
Vintage Fenton Burmese Uranium Glass Hat Figurine featuring a satin Burmese finish with hand-painted pink roses and floral accents. Artist signed "Handpainted by J. Powell," this decorative art glass display piece showcases the distinctive yellow-to-pink coloration that made Fenton Burmese glass highly collectible. This elegant Victorian-inspired hat figurine was created as a decorative display piece and highlights Fenton's renowned hand-painted artistry. The Burmese glass contains uranium, causing it to fluoresce bright green under UV/blacklight, a highly desirable characteristic among art glass and uranium glass collectors. A beautiful addition to any Fenton, Burmese glass, uranium glass, or Victorian-inspired art glass collection. Approximate Measurements Condition Historical Note Estimated Value
Excellent vintage condition. No major chips, cracks, or repairs observed. Hand-painted floral decoration remains vibrant with minimal age-related wear. Please review photos carefully.
Fenton Art Glass revived Burmese glass production in the 1970s after the original Victorian-era glass became highly sought after by collectors. Authentic Burmese glass contains trace amounts of uranium, producing its characteristic ivory-yellow to pink coloration and bright fluorescence under ultraviolet light. Artist-signed examples decorated by J. Powell are particularly collectible.
