Description :
Large vintage brass décor collection featuring an assortment of decorative and functional brass home accents dating primarily from the mid to late 20th century. This substantial lot includes two ornate adjustable brass book stands with pierced Gothic-inspired scrollwork, three decorative herald trumpets with braided chains and tassels, a hammered amphora-style vase with grape cluster handles, a pair of scrolling double candle holders, several brass candlesticks, a chamberstick, decorative brass bowl, and additional brass accent pieces. The collection showcases Colonial Revival, Mediterranean, Hollywood Regency, Victorian Revival, and traditional European-inspired styles. Several pieces are marked Made in Taiwan, R.O.C. (Crowning Touch Collection) while others are unmarked vintage imports. The decorative herald trumpets were produced as ornamental display pieces rather than musical instruments, making this an impressive ready-made collection for decorating, collecting, resale, or interior staging. Measurements (Approx.) • Decorative herald trumpets (3): 22–24" L each • Adjustable brass book stands (2): 9" W × 8" D × 7.5" H each • Hammered amphora vase: 5.5" H × 5" W • Scroll double candle holders (2): 8" W each • Square candlestick: 4.5" H • Chamberstick: 5" diameter • Small brass candlesticks: 2.5"–6.5" H • Decorative brass bowl: 3.5" diameter • Approximately 15–18 individual pieces Condition Overall good vintage condition with attractive age-related patina, oxidation, tarnish, light scratches, and finish wear consistent with decades of use. Some pieces retain original labels while others are unmarked. All pieces display well with no major structural damage noted. Please review all photographs carefully for complete condition details. Historical Note Decorative brass home accessories became one of the defining interior design trends from the 1960s through the 1980s. Inspired by Colonial Revival, Victorian, Mediterranean, and Hollywood Regency aesthetics, imported brass décor from Taiwan, India, Korea, and other countries filled homes with elegant book stands, candlesticks, decorative vessels, herald trumpets, and tabletop accessories. Ornate adjustable brass book stands like the examples in this collection trace their design inspiration to late 19th-century English and European Gothic Revival pieces, many of which command significant prices on today's antique market. Today these vintage brass collections remain highly desirable among collectors and decorators for their timeless warmth and versatility in traditional, English cottage, grandmillennial, maximalist, and eclectic interiors. Estimated Value 600-950
