Description :
Charming pair of vintage framed European village art prints featuring colorful continental street scenes. One print depicts a quaint coastal harbor with fishing boats and cottages, while the companion artwork illustrates a lively Parisian-style cityscape with umbrellas and the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in the background. The cityscape is signed "B. Brindatley" (appears to be artist signature) and both pieces are professionally matted and displayed in matching wood frames. Their coordinating style makes them ideal for French country, cottage, coastal, or traditional home décor. Measurements (Approx.) • Each Frame: 16" W × 14" H • Visible Artwork: 10" W × 8" H Condition Good vintage condition with light wear to the wood frames and minor age-related handling marks. Artwork presents well behind glass with no significant damage observed. Hanging hardware is attached and both pieces are ready for display. Please review all photos for complete condition details. Historical Note Decorative European village prints gained widespread popularity during the mid-to-late 20th century, bringing romantic scenes of Paris, coastal harbors, and historic towns into homes around the world. Professionally matted and framed prints like these were commonly sold through galleries, department stores, and specialty gift shops, remaining popular today for traditional, French country, and cottage-inspired interiors. Estimated Value 85-175
