Historical Note: The Palouse region of eastern Washington and northern Idaho is celebrated for its distinctive rolling agricultural hills and historic farm landscapes. Regional artists and photographers have long used its barns, fields, fences, and dramatic contours as subjects, making Palouse landscapes particularly appealing to collectors of Pacific Northwest and rural Americana art.
