Description :
Eclectic collection of 10 vintage teapots in assorted Japanese and studio pottery styles, offered together as one decorative lot. The group includes rich teal and green glazed pots, a burgundy and gold geometric teapot, floral examples, a reddish-brown raised-leaf pottery pot, gray and white forms, and additional Asian-inspired designs. Visible markings include “Made in Japan,” “Catsford,” and other maker or production marks. A wonderful instant collection with varied shapes, glazes, decorative techniques, and periods. Approx. Measurements: 4–8" H x 6–11" W each, including handles and spouts Condition: Good overall vintage condition with expected age-related wear, glaze variation, surface marks, staining, crazing, and possible small areas of finish or gilt loss. Condition varies by individual teapot. Please review all photos closely for details. Historical Note: Japanese export ceramics became enormously popular in Western markets throughout the 20th century, ranging from hand-decorated early and mid-century wares to later studio-inspired stoneware. This mixed collection reflects several decades of changing Japanese and Asian-influenced ceramic design, from traditional floral decoration to streamlined modern glazes. Est. Value: 125–225
