Description :
Charming vintage coastal watercolor depicting a quiet shoreline scene with a small wooden boat, weathered pilings, distant buildings and seabirds. Rendered in soft blue, aqua, blush and earthy tones with a loose, atmospheric style. Signed “M. Bunker” at lower left and presented under glass with a muted blue-gray mat and ornate gold-tone frame. Back label identifies Marie Bunker of Orting, Washington, giving this piece nice Pacific Northwest regional interest. Approx. Measurements Condition Historical Note Estimated Value
Approx. 14–18" tall x 11–15" wide framed
Good vintage condition with light age-related wear to frame and presentation. Artwork appears well preserved under glass. Please see photos for details.
The label on the reverse identifies the artist as Marie Bunker of Orting, Washington, making this a locally connected Pacific Northwest work. The visible variation and fluidity of the pigment appear consistent with watercolor; however, it has not been removed from the frame for examination, so original-medium status is not guaranteed.
