Description :
Iconic mid-century modern ball-style wall clock inspired by George Nelson’s celebrated Ball Clock design. Features radiating metal spokes tipped with colorful spherical markers in soft blue, olive green, orange, and black surrounding a cream-colored center dial. Black geometric hands complete the classic Atomic Age look. Rear features a battery-operated quartz movement and integrated wall hanger. No maker’s mark is visible in the provided photos, so this is not being represented as an authentic George Nelson/Herman Miller example. Approx. Measurements Condition Historical Note Est. Value
Approx. 12–15 in. diameter
Pre-owned condition with light surface wear, scratches, small finish imperfections, and signs of age/use. Battery-operated movement is present on reverse. Working condition has not been confirmed unless otherwise stated. Please review all photos for exact condition.
George Nelson Associates introduced the original Ball Clock for Howard Miller in 1949, and its colorful spheres and radiating spokes became an enduring symbol of Atomic Age and mid-century modern design. Numerous later manufacturers produced clocks inspired by the original design.
