Description :
Pair of striking vintage wall-mounted candle/oil-lamp style sconces featuring sculptural dark wood frames with elongated geometric cutouts and clear hurricane-style glass chimneys. Each has a small mirrored insert incorporated into the wooden backplate, giving them a distinctive Mid-Century Modern / Danish-inspired appearance. Designed to hang vertically from the wall. No visible maker’s mark shown. Approx. Measurements Condition Historical Note Est. Value
Approx. 15–20 in. tall; 5–7 in. wide; glass chimneys approx. 7–9 in. tall
Good vintage pre-owned condition with expected surface wear, scratches, finish variation, and age-related wear to the wood. Glass chimneys appear intact in photos without obvious major chips or cracks. Please review photos for exact condition.
Decorative wood-and-glass wall sconces of this style were popular during the 1960s–1970s, when sculptural wood accessories became a major part of Mid-Century and Scandinavian-influenced interiors. The elongated organic/geometric woodwork, integrated mirror accents, and hurricane glass give this pair a particularly strong period look.
