Description :

Colorful glazed ceramic art tile featuring a whimsical scene of three figures riding bicycles, rendered in a stylized design strongly reminiscent of the work of Bolivian artist Graciela Rodo Boulanger. Raised outlines and glossy glazed colors in turquoise blue, red, orange, black, white, and gray create an almost dimensional effect. Mounted with an easel-style backing for tabletop display. No visible artist or maker identification is shown in the provided photos, so attribution to Boulanger cannot be confirmed.

Approx. Measurements
Approx. 6–8 in. tall x 4–6 in. wide

Condition
Good vintage pre-owned condition with light age-related wear. Glaze remains bright and glossy. No obvious major cracks or losses visible in photos. Please review all photos for exact condition.

Historical Note
Graciela Rodo Boulanger is a Bolivian artist internationally known for whimsical, highly stylized depictions of children, musicians, bicycles, and everyday activities. Decorative ceramic tiles and plaques inspired by this distinctive aesthetic became popular during the later 20th century. Because no signature or identifying maker's mark is visible, this piece is best described as Boulanger-style or attributed-style decorative art rather than an authenticated work by the artist.

Est. Value
25–60
