Description :
Striking collection of vintage Mid-Century Modern metal décor, including sculptural brass and copper floral/reed wall art plus a hanging Hanova of Pasadena enameled metal candleholder. The botanical sculptures feature tall wheat/reed and cattail forms alongside dimensional flowers and leaves in warm brass and copper tones. The hanging candleholder has an abstract atomic-era teardrop form with an interior platform for a candle. Wonderful 1960s–1970s Hollywood Regency/MCM décor. Approx. Measurements Condition Historical Note Est. Value
Botanical sculptures approx. 24–40 in. tall
Hanging Hanova candleholder approx. 12–16 in. tall, excluding chain
Good vintage condition with expected oxidation, patina, finish variation and age-related wear. Some delicate stems/leaves may have slight bends consistent with this type of vintage metalwork. Please review photos.
Hanova of Pasadena produced distinctive decorative metal accessories during the Mid-Century era and is particularly associated with sculptural enameled metal candleholders and décor. Brass-and-copper botanical wall sculptures were also extremely popular during the 1960s and 1970s and have become desirable again for MCM and Hollywood Regency interiors.
