Description :
Eclectic collection of four vintage ceramic and pottery vessels with strong Mid-Century and studio-pottery appeal. Includes a Red Wing Pottery brown glazed jar/crock decorated with colorful raised folk-art figures and floral motifs; a striking blue-green drip-glaze lidded pedestal jar with an elongated finial; a heavily textured cream/tan lidded studio pottery vessel; and a rustic brown cylindrical studio pottery vase with pierced/scalloped rim. The Red Wing piece is particularly collectible, and the example you found listed at 180 appears to be a close match. Approx. Measurements Condition Historical Note
Pieces range approximately 6–11 in. tall. Measurements should be confirmed individually.
Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. The Red Wing jar shows a visible chip along the upper rim. The blue-green vessel appears to have a chip along the foot/base. Rustic pottery vase has intentional irregularities associated with handmade studio pottery. Please review photos carefully for condition.
Red Wing Pottery of Minnesota produced an enormous range of American art pottery and household ceramics throughout the 20th century, with its colorful mid-century decorative wares now actively collected. The blue-green lidded vessel has the dramatic drip-glaze and elongated “Arabesque” form strongly associated with 1960s–70s décor, although I would not attribute it to a specific maker without a mark.
