Description :
Colorful vintage California pottery grouping featuring a burgundy Coorsite disk-style water pitcher with ice lip, a turquoise Garden City Pottery sculptural pitcher, and a pair of turquoise vintage salt and pepper shakers. Wonderful mix of classic mid-century California pottery forms and bold period colors. Approx. Measurements Condition Historical Note Estimated Value
Pitchers approximately 7–10 in. tall x 7–10 in. wide. Salt and pepper shakers approximately 3–4 in. tall.
Vintage pre-owned condition with visible age and use wear. Turquoise Garden City pitcher has visible cracking and a repaired area at the handle/body connection. Additional crazing, surface wear, small glaze losses and imperfections are visible throughout. Burgundy pitcher and shakers show general vintage wear. Please review all photos closely for condition and repairs.
California pottery became especially popular from the 1930s through the mid-century period, with makers such as Garden City producing brightly glazed, sculptural household ceramics. Disk pitchers and streamlined serving pieces are particularly recognizable designs from this era.
