A highly collectible example of Mid-Century Modern industrial design and American home appliance innovation. Approximate Measurements Condition Historical Note Estimated Value
Good vintage condition with age-related wear, scuffs, scratches, and finish loss consistent with decades of use. Original labels remain partially present. Fan powers through a vintage-style cord and appears substantially complete. Functionality beyond visual inspection is not guaranteed. Upholstered top shows expected age-related wear. Please review photos carefully for complete condition details.
The Welch Air Flight Circulator was produced during the 1950s and 1960s as a dual-purpose appliance combining a circulating fan with a practical hassock or footstool. These innovative units provided quiet, multi-directional airflow through slatted vents while blending into home décor. Manufactured in Ashland, Ohio, Welch circulators have become sought-after Mid-Century Modern collectibles due to their distinctive space-age styling, practical design, and limited survival rate.
