Description :
Vintage mid-century modern barware and serving set featuring a black metal serving tray decorated with a nautical map design, four glass mugs with chrome-tone lattice holders, and a matching pair of Japanese wooden salt and pepper shakers. The tray appears to feature a Bahamas map motif, while the glass mugs showcase a classic chrome grid design popular in mid-century entertaining pieces. The salt and pepper shakers retain their original Japan label, adding collectible appeal. Perfect for bar carts, cocktail parties, tiki décor, nautical collections, or mid-century modern entertaining. Measurements: Condition: Historical Note: Estimated Value:
Good vintage condition with age-related wear. Light surface scratches and finish wear present on the tray. Glass mugs are free of major damage observed. Salt and pepper shakers show minor wear consistent with age and use and retain the original Japan label.
During the 1950s–1970s, Japanese export barware became highly popular throughout North America. Decorative serving trays, chrome-mounted glassware, and wooden condiment sets reflected the era's growing cocktail culture and remain sought-after by collectors of mid-century entertaining pieces.
