Description :

Vintage Oak Highboy Dresser with Brass Hardware

Classic vintage oak highboy dresser featuring warm oak construction, traditional paneled drawer fronts, and decorative antique-style brass bail pull hardware. The piece showcases the beautiful natural grain patterns oak furniture is known for and reflects classic American traditional styling with framed drawer panels, column-style side details, and a slightly scalloped base apron.

The dresser provides generous storage with multiple drawer sizes, including smaller upper drawers ideal for accessories or personal items and larger lower drawers suited for clothing or linens. Its tall highboy design offers excellent vertical storage while maintaining a relatively compact footprint, making it ideal for bedrooms where floor space is limited.

Features:
• Solid oak construction with prominent natural grain
Tall highboy / chest-on-chest design
• Multiple drawers for organized storage
• Decorative vintage brass bail pull hardware
• Paneled drawer fronts with classic detailing
• Scalloped lower apron and column-style side accents

Measurements:
Approx. 36–38" W, 18–20" D, 48–52" H.

Style: Traditional American / Colonial Revival style bedroom furniture.

Condition: Very good pre-owned condition. Wood finish presents well with light wear consistent with age and household use. Drawers appear clean and functional. Buyers are encouraged to review photos for details.

Historical Note: The term “highboy” dates back to early American furniture design in the 18th century, referring to tall chest-on-chest storage pieces that elevated clothing above floor level in colonial homes. By the late 20th century, oak highboy dressers like this became popular again during the 1970s–1990s revival of traditional American furniture, prized for their durability and classic appearance.

Estimated Value: Comparable vintage oak highboy dressers typically sell in the $250–$450 range, depending on condition and quality of construction.
