Description :

Vintage Farmhouse Spindle Back Dining Chairs — Set of 4 Cream Painted Wood

A charming set of four vintage spindle-back dining chairs finished in a classic cream painted finish. These chairs feature traditional turned legs, curved crest rails, and center splat backs that reflect timeless American farmhouse and Colonial revival design. The naturally worn paint and patina give them wonderful character, making them perfect for a farmhouse dining table, cottage interior, or vintage-inspired kitchen.

This set was lovingly owned by the seller’s grandmother, adding a meaningful layer of family history and warmth to the pieces. Chairs like these were often staples of American kitchens and dining rooms for generations, built to be sturdy, practical, and welcoming around the table.

Features:
• Set of four matching wooden dining chairs
• Traditional spindle and center splat backs
• Turned legs with classic stretcher supports
• Cream painted finish with natural vintage wear
• Solid wood construction
• Comfortable, sturdy farmhouse style seating

Measurements:
Approximately 36" H × 17–18" W × 16–17" D
Seat height approximately 17–18"

Style:
Early American / Colonial Revival / Farmhouse

Condition:
Good vintage condition with visible wear consistent with age and use. Paint shows scuffs, scratches, and areas of natural distressing, contributing to their authentic vintage farmhouse character. Structurally solid.

Historical Note:
Spindle-back chairs like these were inspired by early American Windsor and Colonial designs and became widely popular in the mid-20th century as families embraced traditional “Early American” décor. Many households in the 1950s–1970s furnished entire dining rooms in this style, and these chairs often remained in the same family for decades—just like this set.

Estimated Value:
$120 – $250 for the set depending on demand and décor trends.
