Bid for this item !

Description :

Distinctive vintage studio pottery vase with a warm red terracotta-colored textured body, dimensional applied geometric and swag decoration, floral details around the shoulder, and contrasting round accent studs. The narrow neck is finished with a glossy earthy glaze, while the body retains a rustic, hand-worked surface. Green felt has been added to the base. An unusual sculptural decorative vessel with strong folk-art and Arts & Crafts character.

Approx. Measurements: 8–11" H x 5–7" W

Condition: Good vintage condition with expected surface wear, irregularities, small abrasions, and variations inherent to handmade pottery. Applied decoration appears generally intact. Green felt covering on base. No obvious major cracks visible in photographs.

Historical Note: Applied-relief pottery has a long decorative tradition, with raised clay ornament used to give otherwise simple vessels architectural texture and dimension. This piece appears to be 20th-century studio or artisan pottery, combining rustic terracotta surfaces with stylized classical swag and floral motifs. No maker’s mark is visible in the provided photographs.

Est. Value: 75–150
