Description :
Vintage three-piece lot featuring a Dazey hand-crank ice crusher, green pressed-glass flower arranging vase with screw-on metal wire flower frog lid, and clear pressed-glass flower frog. The Dazey crusher features a bright green tapered body, white metal housing, hand crank, original Dazey label, and visible interior crushing mechanism. The green ribbed glass vase has a domed wire grid designed to support individual flower stems. The heavy clear glass flower frog features multiple openings for arranging stems. A charming grouping for vintage kitchen, floral, barware, and retro décor collectors. Approx. Measurements: Ice crusher 12–14 in. H; green flower frog vase 7–9 in. H; clear flower frog 4–5 in. diameter Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear. Dazey ice crusher shows scratches, scuffs, paint loss, discoloration, and surface oxidation. Mechanical operation has not been verified. Green glass vase appears intact with age-related patina and tarnish to the metal lid and wire grid. Clear glass flower frog appears intact with typical surface wear. No obvious major chips or cracks visible in the photos. Historical Note: Dazey was an American manufacturer known for hand-operated household and kitchen equipment. Manual ice crushers became popular accessories for home entertaining and cocktail service during the mid-20th century. Flower frogs were widely used before floral foam became common, allowing individual stems to be positioned securely in vases and bowls. Wire-grid and pressed-glass frogs are now collected as examples of early floral arranging equipment. Est. Value: 60–90
