Description :

Antique oak wall clock featuring an ornate architectural case, carved floral details, beaded trim, Roman numeral dial, brass pendulum and mechanical movement with coiled gong. Includes pendulum and winding key. The substantial wood case has a hinged front door and side inspection window, with attractive period craftsmanship throughout.

Approx Measurements Range: Approx. 28–34 in high x 11–15 in wide x 5–8 in deep

Condition: Antique pre-owned condition with age-related wear, scratches, finish loss, small chips and marks to the wooden case. Front door appears to be missing its glass panels. Mechanical movement, pendulum and gong are present; working accuracy and functionality are unknown and clock may require cleaning, adjustment or professional servicing. Please review photos for exact condition and completeness.

Historical Note: Ornate spring-driven wall clocks of this form were popular during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods, particularly from the late 1800s through early 1900s. Oak cases, Roman numeral dials, pendulum movements and coiled gong striking mechanisms were characteristic features of household clocks produced in Europe and North America during this period.

Est Value: 100–225
