Description :

Eclectic mixed lot of antique and vintage small collectibles and ephemera, including an ornate Victorian-style pyrography wood box with floral and bird decoration, Van Dyck cigar box and advertising material, vintage Gillette-style double-edge safety razor head, MARS harmonica with case, antique framed portrait photograph, porcelain Kewpie-style cherub vanity or powder jar, miniature porcelain thimbles, wooden lidded container, vintage shoehorn with faux horn handle, NUACE photo mounting corners packet, metal lodge or club tokens including an FOE Fraternal Order of Eagles piece and Lonesome 33 Club tag, vintage wire hairpins, sewing or household notions, and other advertising and personal accessories. The pyrography box is especially decorative, featuring detailed burned-wood imagery and construction associated with popular late Victorian/early 20th-century pyrographic craftwork. A varied estate collection with strong appeal for advertising, tobacco, vanity, photography, sewing, lodge, and general Americana collectors.

Approx Measurements Range: Approximately 1-12 in long x 1-7 in wide; most small pieces approximately 1-5 in

Condition: Fair to good antique/vintage condition with expected age wear throughout. Wood box shows surface wear and aging; cigar packaging has substantial wear, staining and losses; metal pieces show patina and oxidation; porcelain pieces show age-related wear; photograph and paper ephemera have toning and handling wear. Completeness and working condition of mechanical items are unknown. Please review photos closely for individual condition.

Historical Note: This assemblage spans several collecting categories associated with American domestic and popular culture of the late 19th through mid-20th centuries. Pyrography became especially fashionable around the turn of the 20th century as commercially available wood-burning tools encouraged decorative home crafts. Van Dyck tobacco advertising, early photographic accessories, lodge memorabilia, safety-razor components, harmonicas, vanity pieces and household notions together create a small time capsule of everyday material culture from the era.

Est Value: 175-300
