Description :

Vintage set of four coordinating bird art prints by noted wildlife artist Morton E. Solberg, depicting atmospheric watercolor-style studies of water and marsh birds including herons and a dark marsh bird. Each composition combines realistically rendered birds with Solberg’s distinctive loose washes, abstract backgrounds and expressive natural settings. Prints bear facsimile Morton E. Solberg signatures and appear to include image copyright dates around 1980. One sheet is additionally marked © 1981 Greenwich Workshop Inc. Includes the original Greenwich Workshop Solberg informational sheet shown. An attractive complete grouping for wildlife, sporting, birding, lodge or traditional décor.

Approx Measurements Range: Approximately 11-16 in wide x 8-12 in high each

Condition: Good vintage condition overall with light age and storage wear. Prints appear clean and display well, with possible minor edge wear, slight toning, small marks or handling consistent with age. Unframed and stored together as shown. Original Greenwich Workshop informational sheet has visible handling, creasing and edge wear. Please review photos for exact condition.

Historical Note: Morton E. Solberg became known for wildlife paintings that blend detailed animal subjects with loose, atmospheric watercolor passages. These prints were published by The Greenwich Workshop, a prominent American fine-art print publisher founded in the early 1970s. The accompanying Greenwich Workshop sheet identifies Solberg and discusses his bird imagery, while the visible © 1981 Greenwich Workshop Inc. marking helps date this group to the early 1980s. Keeping the four coordinating prints together with their original publisher material adds collector interest.

Est Value: 60-120
