Description :
Large mixed lot of vintage U.S. Lincoln Wheat cents with assorted dates primarily spanning the 1920s through 1950s. Visible examples include earlier dates such as 1929 along with coins from the 1930s and 1940s. Lot contains a substantial quantity of circulated wheat pennies in varying shades of copper and brown. Coins are unsearched by us for varieties, mint marks, or key dates and are being sold together as one collectible coin lot. Approx. Measurements Range: Each coin approximately 19 mm diameter; quantity appears approximately 100–150 coins based on photos. Condition: Circulated vintage condition ranging from heavily worn to moderately circulated. Expect toning, oxidation, discoloration, scratches, spotting, verdigris, and other age-related surface wear. Dates and details vary in visibility. Coins have not been professionally graded or cleaned by us. Please review photos for representative condition. Historical Note: The Lincoln Wheat cent was produced by the U.S. Mint from 1909 through 1958 and was the first regular U.S. coin to feature a historical person. Victor David Brenner designed the famous Lincoln portrait, while the original reverse featured two wheat ears surrounding the denomination. Earlier dates, mint marks, and recognized varieties can carry substantially higher collector values than common-date circulated examples.
