Description :
Vintage Nautical Clipper Ship Bookends with Embossed Glass Pitcher & Terracotta Cups Lot This curated vintage nautical lot features a pair of brass clipper ship bookends paired with an embossed glass pitcher and matching terracotta cups. Together, the pieces create a cohesive maritime display blending traditional seafaring motifs with mid-century decorative charm. The brass bookends depict classic American clipper ships with detailed sails and hulls, cast in a warm brass tone and mounted on weighted bases. These sculptural bookends reflect early 20th-century fascination with maritime history and were often used as statement accents in libraries, offices, and coastal homes. Accompanying the bookends is a clear glass pitcher embossed with a sailing ship motif, likely produced by Federal Glass in the mid-20th century. Nautical glassware such as this was popular for casual entertaining and summer table settings, especially in seaside and lakeside interiors. Completing the lot are two terracotta cups featuring raised decorative bands with marine-inspired detailing. Their earthy tone and handcrafted appearance provide a grounded contrast to the glass and metal elements, adding warmth and texture to the overall grouping. Together, these pieces offer a unified nautical theme while showcasing a mix of materials, periods, and functional décor. Dimensions: Condition: Notes: Estimated Value:
Brass clipper ship bookends: Approx. 6.5" H x 6" L x 3" D each
Glass pitcher: Approx. 6.5" H x 5" W (including handle)
