Description :

Vintage 1940s Mahogany Magazine Rack with Openwork Carved Back

This vintage wooden magazine rack features a richly toned mahogany frame with an elegant openwork carved back, characteristic of mid-20th-century craftsmanship. The sculptural cutout design creates visual interest while maintaining a balanced, architectural silhouette.

Supported by turned legs and finished with a shaped handle crest at the top, this piece blends function with decorative appeal. The lower shelf provides ample storage for magazines, books, or records, making it both practical and display-worthy in a living room, study, or reading nook.

The warm wood grain and traditional joinery reflect quality construction typical of 1940s home furnishings, with subtle design influences bridging classic and early mid-century styles.
