Description :

Mid-Century Modern Wood-Framed Smoked Glass-Top Coffee Table with Gold Trim

Rectangular mid-century modern coffee table featuring a solid wood frame with a recessed smoked glass top divided into four paneled sections, each accented with subtle gold-tone trim. The warm-toned wood base is supported by straight, tapered legs, creating a clean architectural profile characteristic of mid-century design.

The smoked glass surface adds visual depth while softening reflections, and the gold trim introduces a refined contrast against the wood frame. The paneled layout references architectural grid patterns, giving the table a balanced and intentional presence. Well suited for mid-century modern, transitional, and curated contemporary interiors.

Type: Rectangular coffee table
Style: Mid-century modern
Material: Solid wood frame with smoked glass panels and gold-tone trim
Finish: Medium brown stained wood with smoked glass and gold trim
Estimated Era: Mid-20th century
Condition: Good vintage condition with light surface wear to wood and glass consistent with age and normal use. See photos

Approximate Measurements:
Approximately 54 inches long × 24–26 inches wide × 16–18 inches high

Historical Note:
Smoked glass became popular in mid-century furniture design during the 1960s and 1970s as designers explored tone, transparency, and contrast. Gold-tone accents were often incorporated to elevate clean wood forms, reflecting the era’s balance of modern simplicity and understated luxury.
